One does not become enlightened by imagining figures of light, but by making the darkness conscious. The latter procedure, however, is disagreeable and therefore not popular. ~ Carl Jung

History Channel’s Modern Marvels: Surveillance Technology
In the world of surveillance, Big Brother is not only watching, he’s also listening, analyzing, recording, scanning, & tracking every aspect of our lives. With advanced surveillance technology, there’s virtually no place to hide.
Examining some of the most important & potentially terrifying equipment the world has ever seen–or rather, not seen–in this thriving surveillance revolution. Parabolic microphones that pick up conversations a mile a way, cameras that learn what & who to photograph, RadarVision that “sees through walls”, and Uninhabited Aerial Vehicles (UAVs). Explore the mind-bending future of surveillance technology, while, of course, reviewing its surprising history.
Anger makes you smaller, while forgiveness forces you to grow beyond what you were.

Watching that last “Surveillance-technology” documentary led me to believe that RFID microchips were much more advance than I only thought they were. Now to me this is very scary, and the next logical step up from all of our information being kept on a magnetic strip on the back of a card we carry. I therefore did a search on them and found some of the following items. Some of this conspiracy reporting is enough to make your heart race.
As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.

“Does history tell us anything about the main purpose of ID schemes? History shows strong recurring themes.
Surprisingly, again and again, the main function has been controlling labour and the workforce, to serve the objective of creating a command economy.
Suppression of political dissent has been in second place, although often a ‘close second’.”

… “the highly-publicized, mandatory switch from analog to digital television is mainly being done to free up analog frequencies and make room for scanners used to read implantable RFID microchips and track people and products throughout the world.”

… And now for something different.
This documentary on a specific kind of volcano that has not occurred for millions of years will totally revise your view of volcanoes. While watching this, you cannot help but wonder if the makers of recent movie “2012” didn’t get some of their ideas to depict the eruption at Yellowstone from this information.

“In 1971 heavy rain fell across much of East Nebraska. In the summer paleontologist Mike Voorhies traveled to the farmland around the Midwest town of Orchard. What he was to discover exceeded his wildest dreams.
It was a sight of sudden prehistoric disaster. Voorhies’ digging revealed the bones of 200 fossilized rhinos together with the prehistoric skeletons of camels, lizards, horses and turtles. Dating shows they all died abruptly 10 million years ago. The cause of death, however, remained a mystery. It was not from old age… “

Our Deepest Fear
By Marianne Williamson
By Marianne Williamson
Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate.
Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure.
It is our light, not our darkness
That most frightens us.
We ask ourselves
Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous?
Actually, who are you not to be?
You are a child of God.
Your playing small
Does not serve the world.
There's nothing enlightened about shrinking
So that other people won't feel insecure around you.
We are all meant to shine,
As children do.
We were born to make manifest
The glory of God that is within us.
It's not just in some of us;
It's in everyone.
And as we let our own light shine,
We unconsciously give other people permission to do the same.
As we're liberated from our own fear,
Our presence automatically liberates others.
Note: This inspiring quote is taken from Marianne Williamson's book A Return to Love. Though often quoted as part of Nelson Mandela's moving inaugural speech, "Our Deepest Fear" does not appear in the speech. Marianne Williamson herself has commented on this mistaken attribution.
